  • Description

This hard-working but very powerful oil is traditionally used to soothe sore teeth (put a drop on a cotton bud and get it as close as you dare to a sore tooth, then rub around the gums for instant pain relief), but also has many more uses. It has antiseptic and analgesic properties, and is employed traditionally to treat nausea, arthritis, rheumatism and infections. Probably best used at home for the wonderful smell, clove bud essential oil is superb in a burner - especially if mixed with cinnamon or even with orange for a festive twist (the latter is particularly effective in smoky areas).
