The Ecologist - common sense and good research on all things eco in a readable format.
Health & Goodness - our good friend Jane Thurnell Read's site, full of great articles and very high quality supplements. You might well see some of her cards appearing in our parcels soon too, she's a mine of really useful information and a tireless researcher, as well as being an inspiring woman.
The Beauty Brains - An American site that busts some of the myths in this industry with good science and not too much jargon. We do differ with them on some points, but largely speaking, we're coming from the same place - and we like the left brain/right brain approach they take too - worth a look as part of your general research.
Ethical Consumer - does what it says on the tin.
Cornwall - because it's where we live and we know how lucky we are, if you're intrigued as to why a couple of Yorkshire women are so passionate about the place, check this site out.
The BUAV - you'll see thier symbol on our products and there's lots of good reasons why. Have a look at thier site to find out what else you can do to stop this ridiculous, cruel but worst of all lucrative practice.

The Womens Environmental Network - fairly self-explanatory - I include it here as it's got some really interesting research articles posted on the use of chemicals in toiletries.
Breakthrough Breast Cancer - because it concerns us all.
The Centre for Alternative Technology - what amazing and comitted people can do when they put thier minds to it (they started all this when the rest of the world thought they were mad remember).
Walking In Cornwall - If you're down this way on holiday this year (and we expect to see as many of our fab customers as usual this year) then this is a great guide to what's on offer in this fantastic county - and it's FREE!
Liftshare.com - A fab interface to help you set up car sharing. Easy to use and wonderfully simple in both style and concept, this site is brilliant so there's no excuse now to be in a car on your own.
Calmtime - If you've ever suffered with insomnia or simply can't get your little ones to sit still long enough for them to get off to sleep, then take a look at this site. The CDs aren't just nice music (and there's no whale sounds either) they're very well thought out sleep aids, in our experience, they work a treat.
Toxic Beauty - Dawn Mellowship is a freelance journalist whose work has appeared in Natural Health Magazine, Health & Fitness, The Daily Mail, Health and Fitness Magazine, Healthy and other publications - she knows her stuff basically. She's written one book you should read (see blog posts passim) but also has a site which is well worth a look, check it out for a sensible, readable and approachable style presenting the facts about this industry.
Through the Gaps - this is a fantastic site detailing on the goings on in the harbour here in Penzance and in nearby Newlyn. On the odd day when we're not rushed off our feet we'll take our sandwiches down to the harbour, dangle our feet over the edge and eat there, looking out at the boats and watching other people working really hard for a change - that's always very relaxing for some reason isn't it?
Living in Cornwall - A really personal and well written take on what it's like to live in one of the most beautiful places in the British Isles.
Shabby Cow - A wonderful collection of interesting, well made and downright fun gifts made here in Cornwall.
The Chocolate House - another magical building here in Chapel Street. The house isn't just spectacular from the outside, it's beautiful inside too, so do consider this treasure if you come here to stay for a while (and you'll even get our products to use while you're there - bonus!).
