Or as it's known here in the shop, WonderMud.  If you've not heard of Rhassoul before (sometimes called Ghassoul), it's amazing stuff.  It's a volcanic clay from Morocco that's been used for thousands of years for its' skin softening and soothing properties.  It's the mud that's used in those very expensive spa body wraps incidentally - and with good reason, it's incredibly versatile and it leaves skin looking and feeling fantastic.  You can use it as a face pack, as a marvellous bath soak and most spectactularly, to wash hair with (be warned, don't use this product on your hair unless you're prepared for volume and bounciness of epic proportions).

Rhassoul behaves in a very special way when it comes into contact with water, it forms a gel-like consistency, and it cleans skin (yes, that's right, we're saying this mud cleans you.... we know it sounds mad, bear with us) gently and without affecting the natural balance of oils at the skin surface.  This makes this product perfect for those with very sensitive skins, but most especially, those that suffer with psoriasis.  It's not just a beauty treatment, it has soothing properties that make it perfect to the soothe itching and help to very gently soften the plaquing that occurs in a bad attack of psoriasis.  Basically, we can't rave enough about WonderMud.

Full instructions for use are attached to the bottom of the pot, but to give you an idea, one pot should make roughly 10 face packs, at least five hair washes or 3 really good bath soaks.  A nice addition would be a couple drops of your favourite essential oil too - rose would be great in a face pack, and a couple drops of your favourite oil added to the mix would make it really special.

This is great face mask. It leaves my skin so soft and doesn't irritate my face like other face masks have in the past. Its easy to use and lasts for ages!
