Our hair cleansers use a mild, natural, sugar-derived detergent that will clean without stripping your hair of the natural oils that protect it. They are formulated for normal (which is a euphemism for a bit greasy - have you noticed you don't get shampoo for greasy hair anymore?) and dry hair types. The dry hair version uses a thickener called Guar Gum, which is also a great hair conditioner, so if your hair is dryish but quite fine you may find this version alone works well without a conditioner. We don't encourage you to wash your hair twice (that's just a con to get you to use twice as much shampoo by the way. Do you wash your hands twice? No, so why put your hair through that?) so this bottle lasts a long time too.

Just wanted to say how much I love the hair cleanser. It's fab. I was so surprised at how well it worked I had to check the ingredients again! It lathers much better than another brand I'd been using and my hair feels cleaner too. Thank you.

Many thanks I have just received my order of shampoo and conditioner from you. Your items and order turnaround is fantastic, am very pleased and impressed with organisation. Your shampoo is great. It works brill even in Leicester's hard scummy water and I enjoy swimming so with the added chlorine have been walking round like Worzel Gummidge for the last couple of years, but no more with your brillo shampoo! I bought some of your Dry hair Cleanser and used it for the first time today. My hair is lovely and soft, and clean! I have been trying a 'no shampoo' regime for my naturally curly hair but realised I do need to shampoo now and again to stop my curls going limp - but I have been avoiding SLS and other harsh ingredients. Just wanted to give you some feedback. The hair stuff is awesome! My hair feels so much better and feels as if it's going back to it's normal state. It's wicked! I like how the products don't foam as much as other stuff, it's great. But yeah, I'm really happy with the shampoo and conditioner. It's awesome!
