Essential Oil - Tea Tree

The famous, strong smelling and incredibly useful Tea Tree is renowned for its' powerful antibacterial properties, making it invaluable for home cleaning among other things.

If you have a hand sprayer handy (perhaps one that used to have window cleaner in for example) then half fill it with spring water and add 20 drops of this to make your own kitchen surface sprayer.  Or if you have athelete's foot you can apply a couple drops of this neat to the affected area - it will clear it up a treat.

10ml (from Australia)

I put a few drops of Tea Tree Oil and Lavendar Oil in my natural laundry detergent each wash. This keeps the mold out of the washing machine seal and also adds a subtle lovely fragrance to the finished clothes!

What our customers have to say....

I find that some aloe vera gel with tea tree and lavender EOs makes for a very good spot zapper and it helps with scarring too (I use 2 drops per 10ml dilution). Also, a couple of drops of tea tree in a basin of hot water is great for steaming oily skin before giving the face a gentle brush with your soft facial brush and then applying your seaweed face mask. Pampering PNS style!

I had a painful ulcer in my mouth once so I gargled a few drops of Teatree in water. Cleared it up in no time and I had tried everything else. You just have to be carefull not to swallow it!

It is really good at keeping athleles foot at bay, I use it on my feet regularly (a drop or two undiluted) and it works a treat.
